My first product, Johnny’s Gnat Trap was created in 2015, “covid-ly” launched in 2021, and is named after my late father, Johnny. the trap’s main ingredient is made of apple cider vinegar (ACV) of which gnats and fruit flies despise. I am a self-taught florist and the owner of Happy Stems The Flower Company. in 2015, I visited a local Houston restaurant to propose making floral table bouquets and was told by the manager that flowers were not meant for restaurants because they created "tons of bugs". say less Mister. busted a one, two step in the kitchen and experimented for years to make the perfect recipe to kill gnats and fruit flies.
